Schultz Process Systems are designed to extract solid and liquid contaminants from gases and various process streams. Our combination of process products are used to protect equipment such as gas turbine engines, compressors, and other process equipment and to provide gas (or liquid) purity. Benefits such as improved plant efficiency, reduced maintenance and extended life can be realized by selection of appropriate Peerless products. SPS provides separation and filtration systems for removal of contaminants from natural gas streams, as well solids and liquids are captured and separated from the process to produce pure, clean gas streams. Natural gas production depends on these various products. In chemical and refining processes, separators and filter systems are applied throughout the entire plant to improve product purity and to provide protection to plant equipment. In plants where natural gas is used, SCSI can provide fuel gas conditioning systems. Severe service applications depend on SPS technology and quality to separate particulate and salt-laden mist in air intake systems for ships, platforms, and coastal service applications. From the natural gas scrubbers to complex skid assemblies, all are engineered specifically to meet the individual need of our clients worldwide. Vane PacksA variety of SPS vane profiles and configurations are available to provide maximum design flexibility for different process applications. Vanes can be utilized within vertical or horizontal pressure vessels. SPS offers two types of centrifugal separator devices: swirl tubes and cyclones. These devices are utilized to remove both solid particles and liquid droplets from vapor streams. While the efficiency of separation is essentially the same as with vane type separators, these devices consume slightly more pressure drop in their operation. As such, they typically have a lower turndown factor (ratio of maximum to minimum effective flow rates) than vanes. Swirl tubes operate in both the horizontal and vertical pressure vessel. Cyclones operate in a vertical pressure vessel.Filter SeparatorsSPS filter separators are economical, effective, highly efficient for removal of large and small solid and liquid particles from gas streams to protect valuable mechanical equipment and optimize the efficiency of processes. Configuration:SPS filter separators are available in vertical and single or double barrel horizontal configurations. Quick Open Closures for easy access to the internal elements can be full or reduced diameter, quick opening design. Fabrication:All separation equipment can be fabricated in our affiliated Edmonton facility or associated Houston facility for export worldwide.
